Timeless Secret - Look Young in Just 14 Days

dieting body image

Teen Hi:

If we did a survey that asked how many of us are happy with our bodies, what percentage do you that the answer, "I'm happy with how my body looks?"

Research conducted on body image shows that women are much more critical of their appearance than men. They are much less likely to like what they see in the mirror. Eight out of ten women will be dissatisfied with their reflection, and more than half may see a distorted image .* Young women need more self-confidence and self esteem.

Young people these days We are bombarded with media messages every day. We watch television shows and movies with perfect looking actors, and read fashion magazines imagining top models.

How not to end up feeling inadequate? We compare our looks with actors and models, and then feel bad because we are not so thin, or do not have the same straight nose, or the same hair or big eyes, etc.

What I do not know is how many plastic surgery procedures of the models may have had, how the photos are retouched and airbrushed, and how actors and models feel the need to go hungry to maintain their body weight required. Models seem to have everything because of her appearance, but do we really know if they are happy? Would you be happy if millions of people were to judge his body on the screen or in magazines? Would you be happy if you could eat rarely?

No wonder the ads is that many of the wonder pills and weight loss plans Instant diet. We see pictures before and after leading us to believe that our life will be perfect if only you can lose weight. Then it will be beautiful, right?

Again, what the media tell us is that many people in ads for miracle weight loss are paid very generously to lose weight, and even are using other methods beside the advertised product. Also, do not tell us how many of these people to gain weight and a little after the diet is over.

These companies spend millions of dollars in marketing to discover new ways to attract people to your product. Be aware of the great monsters of advertising evil that make you feel as if you have to look a certain way to be a worthwhile person.

Another great influence can be your friends and family who are overweight and tell you need to lose weight too. The question you may ask is, if you need to lose weight, why you also need to lose weight? Do they want you are satisfied with your body? It seems as if the pressure to be skinny that never ends.

Unfortunately, excessive and prolonged dieting can lead to eating disorders.

Overeating is usually caused by emotions. You may notice that when you feel tired, angry or lonely, you reach for a cookie or another slice of pizza.

The next time you eat, ask yourself, "Am I eating because I am hungry, or is there another reason?"

Eat a variety of foods, and make fruits and vegetables part of their daily food intake. If you are not already doing so, find a sport you enjoy. It may take several tries for you to find one that fits you best, but keep looking. Being physically active will help you feel better about your body.

Unfortunately, some sports today are expensive, you can create a big problem for adolescents. If that's the case, there are other ways to keep your body in shape. Go for a walk with your dog (or your friends), cycling, play Frisbee, jump rope, just move. Even mowing the lawn is good exercise, and you may also be able to charge for it and make some money on the side!
