Foods that make us fat: an epidemic in the Western World.
In North America and other Western European countries continue to struggle with the epidemic of obesity, we must ask very important issue.
Why is 64% of our population of obese or overweight? The answer can be summed up in one word 4 letter: food. In North America we have a lifestyle of eating fast and far. But we also have a tradition of eating foods with low nutritional value, and provided that knows that is what counts.
Unfortunately we have left the control of our food industry into the hands of pressure groups to promote sugar substitutes and manages the freedom to eat what we want, paid for the fast-food companies to promote their industry. Lobbying for industry meat …
All encourage the food processing industry to add more calories and more under the umbrella of marketing strategies, such as low fat, low sugar, low salt, no cholesterol …
Now, almost everyone who needs to lose weight is the purchase of low-fat, low sugar, low salt .. products. But people keep gaining weight. It sounds like nonsense. But what really makes.
Statistically speaking, when you eat foods low in fat or no fat, usually everyone finished eating nearly 30% more food calories than regular full fat! Can you believe that? So by eating more of these foods low in fat or fat that are artificially tasty, you are actually eating more calories than they should be and more that eating foods high in total fat! Wow. However, eating Foods high in total fat is not good either, so we are trapped in the vicious circle of the food industry. The key is to keep all your health decisions in their hands.
Learn all that is in the foods you eat and what is a good source of fat, the calories you need each day a good part a sensible eating habit. Do you know how much sugar you consume daily? What about the lipids. The bad good? Does can reduce their daily intake of carbohydrates?
No more bread, pasta, chips. You may be able to do that for a while. But one can maintain such diets and calorie control all the time? This is the final question. If you are a discipline quite perhaps, but most of us are not. That's why many of us are overweight and not in a healthy way. Remember that most of the accumulated fat deposits are almost all related to food. and difficult to eliminate the type of lifestyle we have in the 21st century.
Our bodies are wonderful machines – but it has a biological defect''.'' Each time we eat these fats, sugars and starches, anything about our immediate needs of our body signals to keep the rest as fat.
You see, even with our genes are programmed caveman – when food was scarce and the creation of reserves of fat was the only way to survive the times lean.
Today, food is not limited … in fact, quite the opposite is true. But our bodies are still reacting to a party or a starvation response. What was good for our family of ice age is now a big problem for most of us.
So simply, we gain weight because our fat reserves are simply overwhelmed, fat molecules packing too much for what is needed immediately.
The result is an accumulation of fat throughout the body.
